  • Where do I register to bid? You must be 18 years or older to register. You can register to by tapping login/register at the top of the page or by tapping this link Register.
  • How do I Bid and Win an auction item? To Bid in an online auction you must accept the terms and conditions of each auction. Next, you must bid to be the highest bidder. Then when the time runs out on the "time remaining" timer if your the top bidder you WIN! For more information on how to bid please refer to "Buying with us"

  • How will I get notified? Key City Auctions sends out notifications via E-mail and text messages. To adjust these notifications log into your account and tap preferences.

  • How can I pay my invoice? Invoices are sent out to winning bidders email on file shortly after the close of the auction. In addition to the email you may log into your account and find "invoices" of current and all past invoices under the account tab. To pay with your credit card on file tap the pay button located on the invoice or pay cash upon pick-up.
  • Why should I buy from an auction? Buying items at auction means, you and others are setting the price of the item.
  • Can I buy an Item before the end of an auction? Yes, Key City Auctions also provides customers with a "Buy It Now" option. Either through the monthly page or you may also make offers for items. Please inquire for more details.
  • Where does Key City Auctions get its inventory? Inventory is sourced by our team through bidding at auction on pallets of store exchanges, returns, and overstock items. In addition to this inventory we receive items on consignment from the local community.
  • Can I consign items with Key City Auction? Yes, you can drop off items anytime during our regular business hours. Please refer to "Selling with us"
  • What is the commission for consignment? Ranging from 50% to 10% depending on value and condition.
  • Who owns Key City Auctions? Key City Online Auctions is family owned. It was started, and is operated by born and raised Iowans.
  • Where is Key City Online Auctions Warehouse? Key City Auctions warehouse is located at 400 Harrison St. Ste., D. Dubuque IA.
  • What items does Key City Auctions Not Accept? Currently not licensed to sell - Firearms or Alcohol. We do not accept non-working electrical items, hygiene or medical items.
